Rimzei HaShas (Hints of the Talmud) is a page-by-page companion to the Babylonian Talmud built on the classic tools of Jewish textual interpretation: gematria (numerical values of words), notarikon (words read as acronyms and abbreviations), and simanim, allusions that link Talmudic passages to verses of Scripture.

This second volume, by Rabbi Yehoshua Liberman, covers Seder Nashim, the Talmud's order on marriage, divorce, levirate marriage, vows and the Nazirite. For each page of the tractates, the author offers short, clever hints that tie the names, numbers and themes of the Talmudic discussion to biblical verses and to one another. The result gives a fresh angle on familiar sugyot and makes it easier to remember them.
