Shma Tefilati is a Hebrew children’s siddur created especially for young children who are still developing their reading skills. It includes prayers and blessings commonly used in preschool and kindergarten, with illustrations alongside the prayers to help children recognize, follow, and understand what they are saying even before they can read fluently.
The selection and arrangement of the prayers and blessings were developed in consultation with rabbis, educators, and kindergarten teachers, with guidance from Rabbi Shlomo Aviner. Colorful, child-friendly illustrations make the siddur approachable and help introduce young children to Jewish prayer in an engaging and meaningful way.
