Aviv Harkov is a twenty one year old amateur cook and olah. As soon as she could see over the counter, while standing on a stool, she helped her mother in the kitchen. She was raised on the principles and love of Shabbat described in this book, and turned from the sous chef in the kitchen to the head chef as well as a local caterer. After graduating high school she enlisted in the Israeli Navy. Today she serves as a Naval officer as well a full time freser and who works overtime in the kitchen to make every Shabbat and weekly portion of family time as delicious as possible.
